Better known as the “Competency-Based Approach” (CBA), the Senegalese method is based on “constructivism” which assumes that there is only knowledge constructed through experience. A so-called “socio-constructivism” which asserts that knowledge is strongly correlated with the learner’s social environment. The systemic nature of CBA integrates educational action, the target as well as all the needs related to effective learning.
Indeed, this method allows the child to mobilize life skills in a relevant and coordinated manner whenever circumstances require it to resolve the problem situations he faces in his life.
This is a true educational revolution. To this modern and universally recognized method, our establishment has added the Montessori method.
Our school has 34 classes, from nursery to Terminale. The teaching team is made up of 51 teachers, 8 childminders, a social worker and a personal development coach. The members of our teaching team are able to provide effective supervision to students. They are able to diagnose the individual needs of students, identify gaps and provide additional support when necessary.
